To connect individuals, families, and caregivers in Northeastern Pennsylvania to ASD care through partnerships with community organizations and those they serve. We strive to advance a collaborative environment where participants feel they have the support they need and the inclusion and autonomy they desire.
“Our hope is that in working with each other, we will build inclusive communities that support families and empower people with ASD throughout their lifespan.”
Our vision is to create a world where everyone in the ASD community is connected to the support they need when they need it supporting self-determination. We focus on community partnerships, collaboration, and empowerment. The Autism Society of Northeastern PA advocates for broad-based ASD care that can be a model for the nation. We are committed to:
Providing essential information to assist consumers with ready access to community resources that is easy to navigate and access.
Fostering an environment of inclusion and organizing information seamlessly so that parents and caregivers can build supportive connections.
Collaborate with community resources to support a more comprehensive service delivery system
In 2018 The Autism Collaborative Centers of Excellence was created to streamline services and programs for those with autism in Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania. The new program was created to fill in service gaps for those with autism. It was made possible through a donation by the AllOne Foundation. Over seven million dollars was initially committed in order to take care of those individuals on the spectrum of autism from birth to death. The initiative was aimed at significantly enhancing the service delivery system and minimizing service gaps for people with autism spectrum disorder in Northeast and North Central Pennsylvania and their families.

Supporting the Collaborative
The Autism Society of Northeastern PA emerged from a grass roots collaborative effort of a group of service providers and higher education institutions, ACCE Collaborative, trying to identify and meet the life span needs of ASD persons living in Northeastern PA.
As an affiliate of the
Autism Society of America, we create connections, empowering everyone in the Autism community to access the resources they need to live fully as self-actualized community members.
