David Champignon earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania (renamed Pennwest at Edinboro in 2021). He joined the Board of Directors of the Autism Society of Northeastern Pennsylvania in April 2024 and has been a Project Ambassador for Self-Advocates United as One since July 2023.

David lives with his wife Jenny, three dogs, and two cats. David, a self-advocate, has cerebral Palsy and self-identifies as a person with Autism. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife Jenny and their fur children, watching baseball and football. Professionally, he enjoys researching and looking at ideas from different perspectives and bringing ideas to life on a page or document. David also enjoys working with others and forming partnerships to improve communities.
