Dr. Sandra Kirchner is the Behavioral Services Coordinator for the Hazleton Area School District. Her work supports students with complex behavioral needs to ensure equitable access to educational services needed for their growth and development. Before transitioning to the Hazleton School District, Dr. Kirchner was a Behavior Analyst in the IBHS-ABA department at Children’s Service Center, where she provided behavioral support services to a wide range of children and young adults. She also served as the Senior Service Navigator at Children’s Service Center’s ACCE Autism Family Support Hub in Hazleton, PA, where she helped connect families and individuals to resources and assisted in developing programming to meet the complex needs of the autism community.

  

Dr. Kirchner earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Miami University in Oxford, OH after receiving a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. In addition, she holds a certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from The University of Scranton and is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.
